Lol everyone sayn guppies n convicts. But a lot of info is missing! What's he feeding these "feeders" too? Sure guppies breed easy but what once or twice a month 30 microscopic babies?if he has 10 full grown red belly pianhas chances are they barely even touch the snacks.n like wise 150-200 convicts aren't going to cut it either. Or how much tank space n just plain space can he devote to a feeder tank? Or maybe how much $$ he can spend on feeder setup or how much $$ he'd xspect to save from these feeders?
i keep reading that danios can lay eggs weekly but theres some work to be done with them, although the sites that i read have said they can lay between 50 to like 5056045053385357359 eggs at once, i just dont know how long yould have to condition the fish to get them to lay a billion eggs
Agreed. I literally no nothing and mine breed like rabbits. I feed 2 a week to my Oscars (for fun and exercise, no other reason) and I give 5-10 a week to my Brother for his turtle tank. Best part of these livebearers is that they do not eat their own young. The only thing I ever lose a fry to is my filter.
Convicts are far too easy to breed, i had a pair in a fountain in my yard with only maybe 15 gallons of water, and they must of produced hundreds of feeders before they disappeared.
