Hey guys I'm curious on what is the easiest reptile to breed. By this I mean what is the easiest snake to breed, lizard to breed, turtle to breed and tortoise to breed. If you want you can add amphibians. The way i would like this thread to go is like how many females for one male, tank size, special foods, special equipment such as incubators and any other useful information. I asked this because I always wondered what is the feeling of actually breeding a reptile. Thanks and your not limited, also images of your breeding set ups would be helpful too!

snake-sand boas-live bearer , one month brumation for the snakes then temps in the high 80's. introduce the male to the female , 4 or so months later u have live babies.

Leopard geckos. Affordable, economical and friendly. Put two on paper towel substrate, feed well with feeder insects, dust with multivitamins and calcium powder. Lastly, let the magic happen. Of course separate if there's aggression.

I've found most of the aquatic slider/painted type turtles very easy to breed, mainly because slider males are horny as 3-peckered billygoats...but providing a nesting spot for your gravid female can be problematic.

the only reptiles i've had success breeding are flying geckos, and they're supposed to be extremely difficult! (which is why i will only PM you the details, at my descretion, i will not post them for all to see.) they bred, and the eggs were fertile, but we had no incubator, (they were also stuck to the biggest piece of decor in the cage) and they never hatched. possibly for the better, the parents will eat their own babies, and i didn't have a spare tank or a place for one at the time.:irked:
