I didn't even need that, when the parents spwn more egss, that when you move them, but crushed flake is fine, and a net isnt mandatory, they are good parents

Cons were the easiest for me.

hey man convicts are the very east fish u can ever breed ... i love them so much i had many generations they are so cool specially if u need a challenge try to get marble convicts i wish i could have them anyway they are a rare mix between the zebra convict and the white convict ( albino ... but i don't like that name cuz there is a different between albino and white )

Yup, you can bet convicts are the easiest to breed for sure. You can breed convicts in a 10 gallon. Mine did, and they spawned multiple times. Just try to keep them from eating their own fry and invest in a fry net. and get the liquid fry food too. Goodluck!

Can you breed them in a ten gallon? That's so awesome if you can then I can get some!

You can practically breed them in a coffee cup. I wouldn't worry about special fry food for them either. When mine were breeding I observed the male multiple times getting food, chewing it up and then spitting out very fine pieces into the nest. Kind of like birds feeding their fledglings.

No, I know they could breed in a puddle or almost anything, but will they fit in the 10 gallon?

Yes.

No, if you want them forever a 40 gallon breeder is the way to go. but you could section off your 40 breeder and keep a few pairs in there for a while till they out grow it with a central filtration for the whole tank that way they dont have their food eyes on their eggs and keep their attention at the other pairs.
