Easy fish to breed?

What are some easy fish to breed which lay eggs, and stay relatively small between 1-2 inches? I have only bred guppies and bettas before, and want to try something new.

Medakas (Oryzias), Paradisefish (Macropodus), even Rosy Red Minnows (Pimephales) all stay fairly small, although a bit bigger than 1-2 inches. Best of all, they are easy egglayers to breed, but each of them has a unique and very interesting "twist" to the manner in which they deposit and care for their eggs.

Any tetra or barb you can buy in a petsmart will be easy to breed, there's a reason those species in particular are mass produced for chain stores

Zebra danios
Some corys are very easy spawners. Aeneus are especially. Cold water change and leave the heater off for a day or two and they will spawn within 24hrs of the heater being plugged in.
