Easy step by step sump??

Hey guys i'm considering making my own sump and was wondering what the rule of thumb of the tank size of the sump for the actual tank size i'm making it for. i'm not sure what tank i want to do it for so it would be great if i could get a full list for a 20gal to a 125gal. also does anyone have any good blueprints for puting the actual sump together? pm me or post here. thanks

A simpel drawing...
I would use a 200 litre sump to a 1000 litre tank...
But I guess a 100 litre also would be ok.

Just remember to suspend the bio ball chamber above the water line as best you can - they work much better when they are exposed to air with water trickling over them.

just drop in a 12" wide aquarium.. and hook up to tank

im starting with a 10 gallon for my first salt tank. however when im out of college, im going to up the tank size to a 150 gallon. which will be my biggest tank ever. im trying to learn how the sump works and how you keep from over flowing or draining the tank.
