Eating Out

Later in the same day I heard that they were talking about a guy that owes almost $20,000 in toll fees and said he will face no jail time. I was like what? These 2 stories don't make sense.
Surely that guy's driver's license was revoked or suspended long ago.

How does one accumulate 20k worth of toll fees?

Ahh I would assume you'd have to live close to the edge of the state you're living in to do so though.

One time a few years back I was out with some friends and these girls were getting a bit rowdy, ordering all kinds of drinks and food then giggling and whispering. So I asked what’s going on and they told me they were planning to dine and dash. I was so pissed because I have worked in the service industry and I hate when people rip other people off of their hard earned cash. So I secretly paid for their bill and I told the waitress that the girls were going to do the tip. She was pissed that I didn’t give her a tip, but at least the bill got paid. To this day I don’t think they know that I did that

....such as my town....right across the bridge from New Jersey and quite a few residents here work there.

I have a few words to describe that waitress but I won't say them...
You paid those animal's tab and she was mad that you didn't tip her? First off, you didn't even buy the stuff. Second off, you could have just as easily let the resturant take that as a loss but you were nice enough to pay for it. I'd have spoken to the manager well before those girls left so they couldn't leave without paying. If they did end up leaving and the waitress got mad over not getting tipped I would have let her manager know how unprofessional she acted... maybe get her written up .
