You'd need to know the law in the area. I suspect it would vary hugely from country to country, city/state/county, etc.Two people walk into a,restaurant for a meal.One of them walks out and doesn't return.Is the person who remains legally responsible for covering the entire bill? If so,why?
If the remaining person didn't consume the other person's food then how is that person responsible for paying for it?
