Very nice, I think once it settles into your tank the colors will darker.

Also if you have prazipro it wouldn’t hurt to do one round of treatment on him.

Good suggestion.. it has been about 5 years since I added any new fish to this tank. So yea.. kinda nervous.
Unable to source Prazipro here. What is your opinion about using Paracidol based solution while in quarantune?

Unfortunately I’m not well versed in many medications...so I cannot give alternate suggestions. However, something for internal parasites would probably benefit him.

Prazipro was my go to medicine for my ebjd when he refused his food...that and metroplex worked great for me. I think I ended up dosing him 3-4 times while growing .

Hopefully someone else can chime in with more knowledge on other medications

They all look great to me....you cannot pick the one that you like the color bc it will change...ebjds change color several times until they are full grown.

You want to look for shape and fins when they are this small. No notched faces, no deformed fins, etc.

Exactly. Also good head, mouth, eye shape.
