ebay find in my area(question)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not sure, but nice find better pick it up before i do :). j/p. I would snag it fast though.

it looks like a nice tank. the biggest tank I've seen without trim was I think a 55gallon, some tanks are designed for no trim I think. not sure though.

with that much weight it should have some kind of support. I will be fine if you have a tank stand thats solid.
BTW- nice find, I wish I could locate something in my area like that!

Nice Find!! I would bid on it!!! that a good tank, and hopefully price will stay low!!! Godd luck!

i think its an old school tank that has no mid rim but has very thick glasses.
nice find and if top cover and stand is wit it. id say go get it.

The bottom does not need a frame. The plastic frame only serves the purpose of making the tank look good. It hides the bottom seam. There is not enough strength in plastic to serve a structural purpose in any large tanks. What keeps the tank from bowing at the bottom is due to the sides being glued to the tank bottom.

Now go buy that sucker...I'll trade you all the breeder tanks you can stand for it :naughty:

The plastic used on the bottom of a tank is weak. That tank will be fine.
