I believe also alot of breeders do not cull there weaker stock and some are allowed to continue to add to the weakness.
I have babies that are almost and inch and I find they're runts and alot that are stronger ..The stronger ones seem fine
but unless I cull off the weaker ones you have weaker fry being raised.
