Well I got a gold female, so I am going to try my luck....Here are some pics of the 2 jd's...I will update and let everyone know whats going on.and if I do get babies i will definitely sell them to willing persons.....

Are they skittish? If I was to place my EBJD's, BG's, and leucistic JD's in a tank setup like yours, mine would freak out so much. Goodluck to you and your breeding project! I know a breeder in Chicago area that successfully bred an EBJD male to a leucistic female. His fries are probably about an inch or bigger by now. He would be a great person to trade BG's with.

Congratts Andrew. I also have Blue x Gold babies growing out... FYI they are all "normal looking" although theoretically are recessive for both Gold and Blue...
Do date no one (to my knowledge) has ever bred these Gold x Blue crosses back to one antoher to find out what that will result in. One could logically assume it would be a blend of both Blue and Gold... I personally expect the leucism to wash out the Blue... but let's hope I'm wrong

Theoretically the F1 babies should all be normal looking...it's the F2 generation when stuff gets interesting.
