are the electric blue peacocks any easier to take care of. a place my mee has a buch of those and i figured if i cant to the eblj then thats the next best thing

Wrong forum section for that. African require care but with a little research peacocks make great fish, but you will have to read about compatability and they should only be kept with other mildly aggressive malawi cichlids. Pending on the size of your tank how many to spread out aggression.

so basically starting out with the blue peacocks would be better? the ones at the shop by me are about 3 inches. the ebjd is what made me want to get a fish tank in the first place i just havent found any yet so i never got them. right now my tank is at a ph7, its 86 degrees right now only cause im housing 3 rbps for a friend. no amonia or nitrates either. good for eb peacocks with exception of the temp?

No nitrates means something is off, or the tank isnt cycled or something. African cichlids require different care than a rbp or a south american fish would. They need higher ph, different diets, hiding places, and several fish to disperse aggression. A bit of research, testing your water for adaequite conditions and you will be in the right direction.
Drop the temp to 75-80 for the rbp and they will be much more comfortable. Do your research brother, and your fish will be much more active and happy, and so will you in the long run.
