EBJD - First day with white stringy poop

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I ordered online and then called around and found a bottle at my lfs. I bought it and treated the tank just a little bit ago. Thanks again for the advice. Will keep you all posted. I don't normally name fish but this is "Rose" and her tank mate is "The Doctor". No one will understand the names unless you watch Dr. Who. :) ebjd2.JPG

Did you soak any food and feed it?

Yes I sure did. She didnt take any. I noticed a few minutes ago that the larger one was picking at her a bit so I moved her to a hang on the side isolation breeder. She seems more content. I will try to get her to eat a little later. I will soak a couple more flakes.

My fish died. :( I've never seen anything happen this quickly. She was swimming around 45 minutes ago and died about 15 minutes ago. The other fish seems fine. I have a spawn of BGJDs that are wigglers right now. Hopefully I can find the other one a buddy out of those fry. Thank you all so much for the advice.

doctor.JPGThought I would include a picture of "The Doctor" who was the tank mate of the fish who died yesterday. He's been pitiful today. He has looked in all the plants, clay pots etc. I wish I had something around his size that I could put in the tank with him but don't have a thing right now. :( On a positive note, he is doing well with no signs of being sick. ~Melissa~

Nice fish! Yeah my two fish lost a tank mate and never have been the same. They definitely have and show emotion.
