is it possible to keep a firemouth with feeders to liven up the feeder tank?

i know that but im not gonna let him grow in a 20 till he needs a 150 and so on im upgrading to 55 until he outgrows that and so on

can i keep an ebjd with angels and feeders in a 10 gallon until the bass grows out of the 20 gallon?

Angel fish, feeders AND an EBJD in a TEN gallon tank? NO. 10 Gallons is SMALL. The angel fish are probably already stressed out in there.
Why do you have feeder fish? Do you already have a bigger tank? Why can't the EBJD go in there?

Get the 55 gallon set up, and then get the fish.
And get the angel fish out of the 10 gallon.

Don't get a bunch of fish that aren't compatible either. Work with what you've got. Which is two angel fish in a really tiny aquarium.

Firemouth will probably tear up your feeders, if not eat them. From what I've heard they're pretty aggressive.

Why are you planning all these big fish with 10 and 20 gallon aquariums?

The fish you want will be stressed out in those tanks, especially with tank mates.

well the feeders will be eaten in the matter of a week cause of my pbass and i put the firemouth with the pbass in a 20 gallon and the angels arent stressed at all they are swimming w/o a care in the world and my plan is when i get the 55 in about 3 months to move the pbass there and put the ebld by itself in the 20 abd if you really new about fish you would know that firemouths arent that aggressive

and if you read any of my other post u would know im planning on getting big enough aqauriums and with the 55 i would keep the ebjd when it becomes free i dont plan on killing any fish so dont critisize me cause i know what im doing i have done countless hours of research on this topic

I personally wouldn't recommend temperatures above 80s for ebjd unless you are treating them for ich/parasites w/ addition of salt. Ebjd are prone to SBD and bloat and their scales are very sensitive so they stress easily.
Im keeping 8 in a 60gal at the moment since they were 1", w/temp between 74-76f, and feed ONLY flakes when they are juvies as again, they can get SBD/bloat if fed pellets they cant digest when they are young.
Ive seen about 100 juvie ebjd living off of no heater for weeks, as long as you keep up the water changes and feed them flake food that also has garlic(such as NLS) to prevent any parasites.
Also to the OP, my recommendation would be to keep the ebjd solitary or w/ other Ebjd's in a 20gal min. for 1ebjd if you really want to see their true amazing colors come out as once they get too stressed, they darken up.
