My male EBJD has white poop. I read here, it is a parasite. I just treated him JPC. It says wait 48 hours, do a 25% water change and treat him again. This sound okay? My other male is not eatin as much eighter, (still active no white poop) but the temp here is high and the temp in my aquariums is up 5 or 6 degrees. Its about 85-86. Is that anything to worry about?

try some cook pea deshell them. make sure u give him food that have green's in them it's help.

He won't eat anything right now. He looks like he is losing his colour, he appears black. Could he be losing his scales as well?

Thanks, L Sev

JPC is a good product . . . be sure to follow the directions, it will give you a fighting chance

You will probably lose it.

Where in CA are you, toronto LFS really weak EBJD from my experience.

for ebjd i would do all three treatments instead of just two and when i treated for parasites in the past i would do a 50% wc between treatments and make sure there is as little of a temp fluctuation with the new water as possible, to make sure everything is taken care of but yeah if he already isnt eating and is turning black then you will most likely lose him. with these guys in order to have the most success you really have to catch it earlier but hopefully he pulls through, and temp is fine you want it to be warmer while they are undergoing treatment, i would also keep all the tank lights off during this time to lessen stress as much as possible GOOD LUCK

He's EATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just put a few pellets in and he grabed a couple. That is a good sign, I hope.

good to hear . . . stay with the treatment, and go light on the feeding -- give him a chance to get hungry -- and best of luck

yeah thats a great sign but like sabfan said dont get overzealous with it now, keep really like feedings for the rest of the treatment and still do all three treatments, also if he is eating then it would help to break of a bit of any extra tablets and mix it into a small amount of tankwater in a cup (just enough to dissolve it) and soak the food in it for like 10-15min before feedings (strain the food out over the sink or something so that the extra medicated water isnt going into the tank and messing with the medication amount) GOOD LUCK
