I have mine with some clown loaches and a bala shark. EBJD is around 5", smallest clown is about 1", bala is less than 2". The BD does not bother anything. I would not match mine up with other agressive cichlids. My other EBJD has his own tank. Good luck.

u can put a 4" EBJD in with a 2" rainbow cichlid not a blue acara or gt....
