Which do you prefer..and what is better for a community tank? (55G) But this pole is mostly for fun..

I tend to prefer EBJDS for a community because the ones i have dealt with are less aggressive that the average jack depmsey. Thats my two cents
What type of community?
EBJD if it's a community with barbs, tetras and giant danios
JD if it's a cichlid community

The EBJD in a cichlid community would get stressed from the harassment from other cichlids and die.
i plan convicts and firemouths at least for cichlids..but i also kinda want giant danios to..so i can have a jack dempsey with other fish without chaos?cacichlids;5142421; said:

You can have a regular jack dempsey with giant danios, convict and firemouth in a 55 gal tho.

Good luck! they're awesome fish. It was my first cichlid and the reason I started keeping them for years.
