I prefer the traditional JD's. ebjd, IME are too inbred to be a good investment. They are beautiful animals and I like them, but I won't buy any. Theyre like bulldogs, awesome but a risky purchase. And just so you know, the giant danios prefer colder waters, in the low 70s or less. I have some in my 210 which averages about 78-81. Lost a few but the others seem to be doing okay. They can tolerate up to 82, ive read, but thats risky too lol.

yes i didnt know if a JD would even work in a community environment..plus i wanted it to be right and not screw up lol weird to say it has nearly been six months..into 2011 :eek:
 
can have the Jack Dempsey and maybe a Texas Cichlid (H. Cyno)??
