Has anyone successfully kept an ebjd with a gt? I'm talking really kept, not any of this I had a 2" this with 3" that for 1 month nonsense.

no but i have a 5" EBJD and i am going to get a 3" GT to see how he does. how big is your EBJD and the GT?
The ebjd is about 4", my 3" nic has white poop so I treated my 125 with jpc yesterday and woke up this morning with 3 dead geo rio tapajos and a dead sd so I just bought a 10g quarantine and starting to think about new stock ideas
I have a 6+" GT living with a ~4"+ JD for about 6 months now. I bought them together the GT was about 3" or so the JD was only about 1.75". The only aggression is a little half hearted chase at feeding time, otherwise they are fine together. Growing up together is alot different then putting grown fish or semi-grown together, as I'm sure results will vary.
Well that was as close as I could get, my JD is pretty mellow tough and one fish being a little less aggressive than the other probebly allows it to work.
Well I have a regular Male Jack Dempsey with a white saum and they DO NOT get along always fighting over the damn drift wood I had to buy a whole new piece for 50$ just to stop the fighting and every so often I'll see the two going at it. But over all I think you'd be fine depends on the size of the tank. What do you plan I keeping them together in?
The ebjd is fairly mild mannered, I haven't since much aggression with him either towards or against except for my female krib who is a bit of a red ass tried to lip lock with the ebjd this morning and the ebjd had the kribs entire face in its mouth.
