Will there be any other fish in the tank? It depends on how well tempered your fish are I'd honestly say they'd be fine I kept mine together in a 75gallon along with a parrot fish that was must likely the cause of aggression

I have the ebjd, nic, and an old female krib that has plenty of nooks and crannys to hide when she wants, other than that I have a couple of common plecos and few swords. I'm trying to figure another cichlid then evaluate what I need as far as more swords, tetras, etc
Green terror with a EBJD would be fine just make sure you have ample rock piles or pieces of driftwood so there will be less territory fights. But also realize they are cichlids and will occasionally fight.
^ agreed 100% I swear my green terror goes and looks for a fight, he knows damn well the largest flower pot is the JDs yet he still goes near it ahahhaha
I like a little ruckus just as long as no one gets hurt, gill flaring and chasing are just good fun
Hahaha I hear ya I find it very entertaining after a hard day to watch my male jack attack his reflection I place a small mirror on the tank.
