I started with 4 ebjd's, all around 1.5 in. Only 1 made it. He is pushing 6.5" now and well worth it. His tankmates since I got him have included blue acara, severums, fm's, cons, pleco's and clown loaches. My parameters are very similar to yours. I wish you the best of luck.
