I have a 75 want 2 EBJD with some schooling fish and smaller plecos. Any suggestions would help, thanks!

Never feed young ebjd pellets

Personally I would do one ebjd, some rainbowfish, and a royal chocolate pleco

I hear they do better like stated above, higher fat and fiber lower protein early in life. They are beautiful fish but I have never had luck, that fish is my Achilles heel, I've tried i think 6 over the last 2 years.

Any suggestions on things to do to make me successful? What did you keep with them?

I would say no other cichlids, so they don't get bullied or outcompeted. You have 2 ebjd with some schooling fish and plecos already? I would say that should be fine, as long as the plecos stay small

Not yet but that’s the plan, I just don’t know what schooling fish. I thought about bushy nose plecos since they stay small

Large tetras should be fine, swordtails or mollys/livebearers would be geographically correct (central America). Bristlenose would be a good choice, I would only get 1 personally, because they make a lot of poop.
