In answer to your question, all EBB blocks can be used in fresh and salt
water, however we recommend the use of EBB 100 Aqua for sensitive fresh
water fish as it buffers to an ideal pH ideal between 6.8 to 7.4 and the
EBB 100 Octagon or EBB 100 for salt water as it buffers to a
slightly higher pH of approximately 7.8 which is ideal for a salt water
tank and Still within the comfort zone with a fresh water tank or pond
for hardier fish, such as Koi and Goldfish.

Hello All,

Ive actually ordered the product and tired it. and WOW! it works! I was probably the most skeptical of all, but i gave it a shot. The water in my pond is clear and it even helped removing alge in the water. It is tooo good, but it is also very true.
