What do you mean? Will this thread be removed ?This is definitely not the right sub-forum for this kinda thing...

Thanks. So to take exactly like in the first photo did you fully off the lights and use only camera flash?Doing the silhouette effect is a trick done with digital cameras, using a flash to illuminate the middle of the tank without catching the background, which does not have enough light for the shot. The fish has to be in the right spot without any objects to get the effect. It can't easily be edited in.
Here are some examples, taken on a Canon EOS 7D with a 50mm lens
Nothing in the background = just black

Now you can see some elements

And close to the bottom you can see everything as the cone of light from the flashes widensView attachment 1436843
I keep the lights on, the camera needs something to focus. I have an external flash above the tank, and I bounce the camera flash off the ceiling to trigger it. No flashes directly against the glassThanks. So to take exactly like in the first photo did you fully off the lights and use only camera flash?
So for an external flash I could keep the tank light on top switched in right? And what do you mean “the camera flash off the ceiling to trigger it”?I keep the lights on, the camera needs something to focus.
