Edit picture of my Poly

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use stock Canon digital Rebel with flash, mostly using the Portrait mode, either auto, or manuel focus.
The camera needs to be pointed slightly downward to avoid reflection.
Tanks lights on, or sun. Although sun is tricky.
A black background helps these type shots, I tape a styrofoam panel spray painted black to the back of the tank
I used Canon EOS kiss and portrait mode too. And I see I’ve done a lot of mistakes too, the tank glass wasn’t clear, didn’t tilt the camera and the backGround was white. lol so obviously the chances of getting a black background with white would be null right?

usually take about 100 shots at a sittin
Even I take a lot of shots and then delete them, but not as much as 100. Deleting the rest would be frustrating xD
OP, I tried editing your shot.
Cropped some of it.
Maxed out the brightness, added a little different color, and used an edit filt
Thanks a lot! Creating a total black background is not possible tho is it?

Depends on how good at photoshopping you are.

Um.. Hendre Hendre I tried it with a digital camera as you said, the pics were obviously better than from the phone but no black background. Should I put some black cover behind the tank for it? Or are there separate settings in the camera for that?
Black back is best. I shoot a 1/200 shutter speed, aperture of F8.0 and 100 ISO

Getting it in photo form is so much easier, once the setup is right you can get many photos
