I still got him. He’s in a 40 gallon with a couple Buenos Aires tetras and female bettas. They all get along perfectly and all very active.

Any risk of the cat eating the smaller fish or are they not at all piscivorous?

They get a long surprisingly well. The thing is I’ve had the catfish for like a good year now and still I don’t know what to feed him because I’ve never seen him eat anything I ever put in for him.

This might sound hard to believe but I’ve never had a single problem with missing or dead fish in the tank with the eel catfish. They all live together and don’t bother eachother.

Looks like they prefer live foods from my readings on planet catfish, but will eat just about anything. Likely preys on crustaceans and small fish.
