eel compatability

Just to let you know, European eels (and all Anguilla species) are real eels. Spiny eels are not eels, just long fish. Same with reedfish etc.

I have never owned a real eel, but they interest me greatly, so I would say go for a European eel.

What kind of spiny eel are you talking about, and whats your spiny eel's diet?

It was a fire eel and ate mainly eartworms.

i have a tiretrack eel that gorges himself with brine shrimp, when he gets bigger (he is about 3inches i would guess) i plan to give him feeders (after being quarintined of course).

You frog is going to eat your tetras. Spiny eels have a pointy nose to dig in their substrate for worms.
