From 6" to 15", and hes still kickin butt

In the summer he grows fast becasue I am able to catch and feed him live silversides all the time. Sometimes when my dad goes fishing he'll also cut up and freeze some of the fish he catches for me, bluefish, stripped bass, flounder, skates...
During the fall/winter/spring I cut up and feed him either frozen mackerel that I buy whole at some health store, frozen squid, or raw shrimp. This year I am thinking about just buying fish from the fish market and using that. Expensive, but its alot easier than working around the bones from a mackerel, and the squid always stinks up my hands for the rest of the day...The Sea Robin is also accepting chopped up frozen fish, so thats good.

Remember that they like grass shrimp. earthworms, and pile worms to.

OOOOHHHHH, I know they eat worms, but I wish I knew they ate grasshoppers. I live in grasshopper country over here.

They are everything. I keep mine in Saltwater and that is where adult eels live. They spawn in fresh water, and that where adult eels go, in a stream or something to spwan. So they can go to fresh to brackish to salt to brackish to fresh. I believe guppy kept his in a fresh water tank. If he didn't I believe that you can keep them in just about anything you want.
