Hello all
I bought this eel from the LFS when he was really really small. Wanted a fire eel. But couldn't find one. Figured I would settle for a TT. Couldn't get a real good idea of his markings at the time. He was sold to me as a tire track. Been a slow grower that hides sometimes for weeks at a time. Clearly now I see he doesn't have tire track markings. So I am guessing he is a zig zag???? And from what I have read they don't get very big? If so major bummer prob have to get rid of him. Needs to grow bigger or he probably would get eaten? He is in my grow out 135 that already has some bigger bichirs and datnoids. Was hoping he would get big enough to eventually go in the big boy 220 with the really big bichirs and my 28 inch black spotted eel. The black spotted eel is pretty awesome. Tame, I hand feed him every day. Fun fish. Lots of personality.
