Beautiful Eels man, you should venture into the Greens and Tessalatas :)

I love Tessy's but they are too big and limit a huge tank to a species only. Considered one in my 240 but decided to stock instead. Nope I have set my sights on the prize!

**Japanese DME one day**

hmm when is that fishing trip??? need a real reason to come see those tanks again... the tanks the fish ooooo giggity

I wanna go with a marine tank 1 day. I must look into getting an eel or two now. Great looking fish.

Great eels.

MY LFS had a Japanese Dragon Eel a while ago. Those things are damn pricey!

i think you need more eels! from the eels i see in the pet store, dont they just sit in one spot usually? not very active?

Depends, after a heavy feeding they sit in their hiding spot with 1/4 to 1/2 of their body sticking through a hole looking out at you.

When they get read to eat they are everywhere (Up / down, back and forth, all through and over the rocks).

And other times they are in the middle. They move around all day but stay mostly out of full body sight except when moving from one cave to another. But they are ALWAYS interested in what your doing outside the tank. Mine all three watch me everytime I walk by or stand in front of the tanks.

Love the golden:WHOA:
