I just wanted to share my 12 gal nano cube tank. It's been up for 3years I've had the banjos(6) for around 6 months . Very shy fish. Peaceful. They live with a Betta, calvus, and blue ram. Eating frozen blood worms and dice market prawns. Water change via the sink(on kitchen counter) every 2 days. They've been fun, just felt like sharing. If anyone else keeps these or bred them please drop some tips. Thanks

I missed this one!!! Set up looks awesome! Of course they will need something larger in the future, or at least I would recommend it. Stunning fish please update again in the future.

One more shot this morning. I'm sure I'm gonna get heat for having goldfish but they been fine @78 and fed Saki Hikari purple, bloodworms and NLS. Damn raccoons ate all my goldfish but these 2. Anyone else with banjos please post. These swim quite a bit and ate active feeders.

Beautiful little fish.

Wouldn't you know it, I've been looking for some to keep with my goldies too!

Thanks Roku. They seem to do well together. They break the goldfishs poo up so it can get removed via filters. The main problem I have is the driftwood. I didn't realize my Goldie's were so clumsy and the lost a few scales already. Considering smooth riverstones instead but the cats like the wood and plants look better on them. Hmmm..

I would love to get one of these. I have never found any in Australia.

These guys look awesome in their tank. They almost look like a squashed raphael.

Yeah they sort of remind me of my old Rafael cat. If they live as long as him that would be awesome. Had one for 11 years he just moved around from my tanks during that time, until a rock pile in my African tank crushed him. When I first got them they had a marbled look, after a few day the 2 that had it turned black. They look like they are lightening up some now. I'm guessing they like the space.
