Eel Tank Idea

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Chestnuts and Vipers are NOT available..... Been looking for years.

Does anyone really think a 55 gallon with 50lbs of live rock, as a suitable home for a moray, is really a good idea?

golden dwarf moray

$400, 9" long, and worth every penny

Hahahahah. Can't reveal all my secrets:naughty:

Well, ok maybe one more...
I got it from a lfs in the summer of last year. I traded a nice looking golden tail moray for the chestnut. The store has since closed.

Unfortunately, my chestnut is not for sale:cry:. But, the store owner did tell me the name of the company that he bought it from. They actually sent the chestnut labeled as a viper moray. Soon after I traded for the one I have, the store brought in a second chestnut. I haven't seen another one anywhere.

I can try to get a picture of my eel, but no promises. A head shot if I;m lucky.

My brazilian horned actually caught and ate a lyretail anthias. I was very surprised he was fast enough to do it.

Spotfin, did you ever get a picture of your chestnut?

This is the best I can do. It rarely shows itself.
