Eel tank

I'd skip the Polypterus, I think they would make food of eels.
 
I f you want to keep anything from mastacembelus youre looking at 200g minimum but a 55 would be fine for a couple of macrognathus (except aral) and maby some loaches (not kuhlis) or get a 200 with a fire eel and some tinfoil barbs as a full grown fire eel could eat a 8" bichir.

tiretracks are much more aggressive than fire eels, my 12 inch tire track attacks my 18 inch tire track whenever it comes to his side of the tank, just make sure you have a big enough tank
