Hypostomus punctatus & Pterygoplichthys pardalis stay around 16"
but yours looks more like
Pterygoplichthys multiradiatus & Hypostomus plecostomus
which maxes out at 20"
If you have the time count the number of rays in the dorsal fin that's usually the only way to tell the difference until they get real big

What about Fire eels? Do they get along with other eels?
They do but get very big I have seen people with fire Eels as thick as a forearm and 36inches long so at that size would probably end up eating a peacock eel, tyre tracks are the same but the biggest I have seen was 26inches but very impressive still

I've never heard of a smaller sized common pleco. How long have you had it?
About 2 months

Wish my fire eel would come out so I could see it, it hides inside a ship I have in the aquarium. It's eating earth worms that I put my n but it comes out after I go to bed to eat. I've had it for about 2 months now, waiting for the day it come out so I can enjoy it some.
