eels with cichlids

I have one of each in with a mixed bunch of cichlids. I have had them for about 2 years and they both are doing great. I would just make sure that you have some pcv in the tank for some shelter if they need it. My cichlids seem to ignore them both.

They both work but in my experience the TireTrack's are not as shy and more aggressive when feeding time is on. This is good when living with a bunch of greedy hungry cichlids

okay thats what i wanted to hear i was worried if i got one it couldn't get food because of my cichlids

my eel only comes out once a day if that to eat and all i have is an oscar and a jaguar

he sits and burrows through my gravel and then come out to eat when all the rest of my fish are slleping!!

get a fire eel

i think most eels would be fine as long as your fish doesnt eat them.that would be bad cause spiny eels are spiny,and spines hurt.
