Don't have experience with Freshwater Eels but would suggest a keeping water in pristine condition.

Hi it has been pristine for three years and I put in some rosies for my eel to eat along with the water from the pet store now I’m having problems

Sorry to hear that. One reason I personally don't feed live feeders to my fish.

There’s no set ph. Can vary for 6-8. Tolerable to most water parameters. I’d suggest taking a pic of the fish and the area in question. Any decor in the tank?
