Efficient ways of moving large heavy tanks??!!

Who help you put there in the first time. You didn't say if your moving it to another house or just across the room. If you only need to move it to another place in the room you could see if you can get it to the floor and drag it over there. But if it needs to be moved up some stairs or out to your truck get a neighbor to help. I used a wagon when I purchased a used 120 glass that was sitting in someones backyard. We could of carried it out to the street but why strain our backs a wagon was easier. A Dolly could work too.

If the tank is already at the height it needs to be at try to figure out a way to keep it at that height! Moving a tank from a stand down to the floor and from the floor back up to the stand is much much harder than moving the tank laterally. I have a tool cart with wheels on it that I use. I slide the tank to the cart. Move the stand. Then slide the tank back onto the stand after wheeling the cart to the new location. All the effort is just pushing and sliding rather than lifting.

Sorry I haven't replied, it's at my parents house and I need to bring it to my new place like 200 miles away, it doesnt seem like a possibly at the moment. I don't have a vehicle for it and a uhaul would cost more than the tanks worth.
