Egg Spots on the anal fin...

first of all the Egg spots mean different things on different fish so not knowing what fish you really have means nobody can help you. secondly if the fish in your pic you googled is your fish you are in the wrong section asking the wrong people. this is central and south american cichlids not african's. thirdly your post describing your fish is as specific as me saying I have this thingy that does some stuff. Nobody but the voices in your head know what you are talking about and honestly I doubt they know what you are talking about either.CaRnlvor;3203432; said:

It is a bit difficult for anyone to even try to help you if you don't tell us what fish you are talking about.
I hope you also didn't just pull a random picture from the net and think that if the rule applies to one fish it applies to all.
And I don't find it fair for you to insult people when clearly you are not giving anyone anything to work with.

I have many females who have more than one spot either that or my males are reallly really really confused and they not only lay eggs but mouth brood them.

If a posted a question about a stingray in this forum could I insult people for not knowing? Even though the difference isn't as drastic in fish compared to stingrays, africans and sa/ca are still from different continents and I think that's why good sites like this have cichlids divided into differnt forums. Btw the africans I had both male and female had identical egg spots
