Egg tumbler?

ive heard of using an egg tumbler when raising fish from eggs but which species of fish would necessitate an egg tumbler to be used?

They are often used on mouth-brooding cichlids as a way to artificially incubate the eggs. There are other groups that they are used for (almost all that I am aware of are mouthbrooders) but from what I have seen they are far more successful with cichlid eggs.

No they are used for mouthbrooding cichlids only. I have seen them used with plecos but very rarely.
