female midas dropped last night, she got beaten pretty bad divided the tank and she laid (think she into s and m)
hoping male did the dead he seemed keener on killing than making babies
but we wait in hope

I hate that cichlids do that to the females after spawning. You're lucky he didn't kill her.

he is a monster 13inch plus but he did not do his thing
eggs all invertile female ate them up last night
atleast it is a start taken 14 months to get this far so can wait a lil longer i guess

You have a very nice pair! In the future, it's possible that they'll produce fertile eggs, and you'll have some very cute newborns swimming around your tank!
