I think it's because I ran out of salt and I haven't changed their water in 2 weeks tomorrow.
Normally every sudnay i change it

what ive heard may be the key to breeding many brackish fish is fluctuating the salinity as if its in their natural environment, switching from brackish to fresh and back or from brackish to salt and back over a period of a week or two

either way, good luck :)

that's probably why! because I normally do a freshwater top-off before the water change, but I did the top-off without the water change.

wow this is the most unbelievable, exciting and interesting thread i have read in a long time..this is outstanding... log this info and keep pics... you may just be the first breeder of columbian cats in the aquaria..i find no other info about it... i wish they had not eaten them....darn it..wonder how long until next time...
