Hello all :) I haven't been on this forum in over a year... anyway. I have two yellow lab cichlids in a 20 gallon (moving them to a 40 gal in like a week) and they may be male and female. There are some tiny brown egg looking things on the back of the filter that I am wondering about... I'll post pictures in like 5 minutes as soon as I get them in my e-mail from my phone. They look hatched but I'm sure they would've been eaten. I'm no expert in cichlids so help me out please :) lol

Thanks!

I don"t think those r eggs? Hard to tell in the pic..But female yellow labs hold the eggs in their mouth (just like most africans). I have never seen any african cichlid lay eggs like that? Every one i ever had kept the eggs and fry in their mouth.
But Im not an expert..Just speaking from my experiences..

yeah i forgot about that... thanks anyway... that just goes to show that i dont know much about africans lol
