I think thats two females but i cant tell from the post. Most likely all the fooling around in the tank while they were breed scared them. cichlids will abandon fry if they feel they will loose their life. you dont need extra aeration the female wil fan the eggs. It doesnt need to be at a 45. If you move the eggs to much after they are laid the eggs sometimes it rupture the embryo and it dies.m

they have done a lip lock thing, surely that means there male and female?? i didnt touch the eggs atall that was the setup i had in place for them already

Your prolly right though they look like two females to me. I believe I might be insane to believe that they are two female because they breed. Small chance for lesbian fish. I blame it on the nightquil. ANyways feed them blackworms and feed the heavly with large water changes. They will breed again in 30 days.
