Fresh water master test kit :
P.h 7.2-7.6 ( cant decide )
Amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0

So i thought it was the kit....

Nitrite test kit:

Nitrite 0

This is on my bigger tank and I dont understand wtf is going on.... When I saw this I said " this cant be right I've had it set up for atleast a month with goldfish, some random chichlid i got for free, and a native fish I cought." WTF!

Is it the test kit? or has my tank not cycled?

I even threw old media from my dads pond in! ( 3 giant sponges about 1 ft long 1ft wide, 12 bioballs).

I have noticed in some of my tanks when I used old or used media that the tank did not go through the usual cycle with amonia or nitrite. Test your nitrate and see if that is reading. Maybe already cycled.

Nitrate was 0, So it might be the kit but I'm not sure... I'll go out and buy another nitrate kit later on today.

do you have lots of live plants? I usually get 0 NA in my tanks because they are all so choked with plants.

Also, it may NOT have cycled yet. I have heard of tanks not cycling for over a month. I never had that experience but some have I guess. I would think you would have at least some hint of amonia at the least. I am sure someone here with more biological background will have more experienced input than me but those are my experiences. I have never had a "bad" test kit and I have gone through over 7 of them. I had 8 tanks running at once last year and always used the kits with no failure.

sound like it has not fully cycled yet . that is a big tank if i remember correctly so it might not be ready yet , but with everything at 0 that is a little scary . when you to buy new kit today take a water sample with you and have the lfs test aswhile .

Only plants in there are some Major brown algee near the drain on the tank, I went to petsmart before I read some of your posts.

I bought a
Nitrite and nitrate test strip kit:
Nitrate: 20
nitrite: about 0 - 0.5

Does that mean its cycled? i thought cycled tanks were 0,0, than around 5-20

First thing I would do is check the manufacturing date on the kit. Personally, I don't like AP test kits, and have had 3 go bad. I prefer the seachem nitrite/nitrate test kit. I ran a test between the seachem and my 4 nitrite and nitrate kits from AP. I forget the exact results, but the AP had a pretty wide range of readings, while the Seachem was pretty close to the middle.
