Ok well the good news - the worm is gone, the bad news... if my last guppy got one and its harmfull then I am gonna be very po'd person cuse that guppy was fed to my bleekeri (I found the worm right after I put the guppy in its tank.) bleh. It was one long white worm like 2-3 inches.

It probably isn't a problem but just keep an eye out for a bloated belly or "camel anus". This is not observable until a month or two after infection.

Now as for blood worms and little red worms I never had worms in my tank b4 but I know someone who does have those. He has little white and red (id guess this to be what you have?) worms and I am pretty sure blood worms to. What are the red and white ones and are they harmufll to fish?

I need some worm learning here!

The white ones are suppose to be harmless to fish. If the red ones are in the sand or gravel, then they are also harmless bloodworms. If the red worms are hanging out of the fish's vent, they are nematodes and are hard to get rid of. They will kill his fish. If any fish are permanantly bloated, then he has internal parasites (still could be nematodes).

I have a whole colony of these little things in the gravel in my 10G, and I don't really mind them. they are harmless, they eat crap (yeah, I know, python is your best cleaner, but still.), and are a free food source for my fish. my rasboras and betta love them!

More bad news Ash! I have a new worm...actually several of them. The white one you described is like the one coming out of one of my fish. It also has nematodes (red worms) coming out too. The nematodes don't show up in the pics well, but the long white one does. I am going to have to treat the whole system of tanks. The bottle of medicine will treat four hundred gallons, so I am good to go. If you need the link were I bought it, just let me know.

bleh, that sux! hmmm it was as long as that worm, but the one I had was most def not that thick it was very thin... It was only in my feeder tank and it went bye bye I havent seen anymore in there and I havent see any in my big tank yet.. so I might be ok...

Since it was in the feeders and the feeder(s) were eaten, the worms are in the main tank. That is the most efficient way to spread internal parasites. It will take several months to show up in your fish. FYI, it seems like most of the Florida wholesalers have really bad parasite problems right now. From now on I am going to keep this stuff on hand in my Physh Pharmacy.
