No idea how to... And it's only for a300l tank with 1fh....

I can't drill the tank and hob drains won't work

That's a bummer. You could build a nice submerged sump for about 75 dollars

What do you mean submerged sump?i have a pump that will run about 4000lph... Tanks easy to get hold of...

The 2080 has a flow pipe that takes the water from the prefilter to the bottom of the canister... And yeah they are $1299 with free shipping here

If you take out the baskets, how will the water flow to the bottom of the filter?

From the prefilter, the outlet from the prefilter goes down a pipe in the side of the 2080...(right hand front of I remember correctly)

The prefilter has a ledge it sits on separate from the other 3 baskets.

So the pre filter would stay complete, with the pipe to the bottom of the canister, then from there my idea would be to remove the walls from the bottom tray, turning it into a platform, then stacking mech pro, then marine pure and then floss....then back to the tank
