I can get some used 2215's and 2217's. How much should the price be for each? I don't know how old they are. Thanks.

Edit: I don't know about media either.

Edit:: Please list what you'd pay for each with and without media. Thanks for the help.

30 or 40 for the 2215, and 40 or 50 for the 2217. I'm not really sure on resale values for those honestly. I'm just giving you a straight answer on what I would pay for it based on looking at them online, and the prices I have paid for other similar filters.

Anyone? I need to know if I should buy 1 or 2 or 5.

Depending on the price you're offered, 5!

Can never have too many spare filters especially if they're quality filters at a good value price. Eheim spares are cheaply available on ebay if you need parts.

Price I was given was 60 for the 2215 and 80 for the 2217. I'll wait for some more answers before I decide on what to do.

Thanks for your opinion.

always haggle with people. they always tell you a price more then they WANT because they know after haggleing they will get what they really want. so for you offer a price less then what ur willing to pay. and eventually itll work out.

I paid $40 for a used 2215. It had bio rings and ehimsubstrate stuff.

there a good filter, not a powerhouse tho.

i would pay 65 for the used 2217. if you get the media thats worth a pretty penny, probably cost you 80 dollars atleast to fill up the 2217 with eheim media.

how big of a tank are they going on?
