Eheim 2215 and 2217

sorry im a little unclear? so the 20 longs are gonna be a single system with one sump for them all?

Yup. Five 20L tanks on 1 sump. Then 3 Eheims on the sump for extra filtration.

if you dont overstock it should work.

i feel a single eheim 2217 can support a fully stocked 50 gallon tank.

If they have media,I would pay around $50 for the 2217,and $35 or $40 for the 2215. If they don't have any media,I would not pay more than $20 or $30 for either one of them.

$120? where? and if it's online, does that include S&H?

I would pay maybe $60-75 used, but I would love to know where to buy new for $120 . . .

i would present the guy this offer.. "$120" and i'll take both filter.. if not.. then $130max.. u can find them better used on ebay or a LFS whos been around long enough to have old ones...

They are great filters.. but resale value is really 50% of brand new prices...
