I've got something like 20 classic's 2213/2215/2217's throughout the fish room. Many of them have been going perfectly without missing a beat for well over 10 years. I've never had a problem with one but I do maintain my filters correctly by changing the o-ring and impeller shafts every 18-24 months.Very simple filter to use, clean and operate.
