Hi all from Australia, am new to this forum but am just setting up a 150 gallons or approx 500 liters tank with a second hand Eheim 2260 which I picked up cheap. Tank up and running and filter sorted out but the previous owner either over tightened the mounting screws of the base plate cracking each of the corners (or it has vibrated execessively and cracked itself). I have looked online for quite a bit but while I can find the mounting plate that bolts to the canister (blue plate in the pic below), I can not find the replacement base plate for the pump. 20220206_222936.jpgAnyone have any ideas about where I could get a replacement? Thanks.
Regards
Scott

S Scottn35 The part number for the plate that mounts to the pump is Eheim #7268259, I saw a couple places online that may have it in stock though due the pandemic it might be not available.

Deeda, thank you very much for that. I actually looked for this part number but the schematics I found didn't list the pump plate separately (attached). Could I trouble you further for the link or location of the schematics you found?
Thank you again.

The part numbers are in the actual pump manual and not listed on the filter manual. I have 3 of these filters so got at least 1 manual for the pump when I bought it new.

I also wanted to add that some members here and elsewhere bought cell phone gel pads or similar to act as a cushion between the pump mounting plate and the stand off plate the pump mounts to. It helps cut down on the vibration noise considerably.

Could try JB Weld plastic putty to fill & hold those cracks?

(Haven't tried it myself though).

Thanks for that Deeda, I didn't even think that it would be a separate manual and parts list... but makes sense. Have downloaded a manual for the 1260 pump and ordered a new base plate for the motor and a set of orings. Much appreciated. And yes, the preview owner had installed some type of gel pads under the pump as well. Will be replacing the same to reduce vibration, though running very quiet at the moment. Thanks again.

Thanks Fishdance, unfortunately the base plate was cracked and broken on all four corners and now that I have found the replacement part cheaply online. I have ordered the same and will keep it together until I recieve the new one. Happy to renew it as I got the filter quite cheaply. Thanks again.
